A new mode of political campaigning has been put to use in New Zealand this year. All major parties and many local MPs and candidates have been using TikTok to spread their campaign narratives ahead of this year's general election. With the youngest user base of all social media platforms, in a country that has historically seen low voter turn out from 18 - 24 year olds, will we see more youth turn up to register their vote this Saturday?
